Codemill And Adlede Are Listed In The First European AI Startup Landscape

The landscape includes 158 Swedish AI startups among over 500 startups in France, Germany and Sweden.


During the virtual Sweden Innovation Days event on November 17, 2020, the first version of the European AI Startup Landscape was presented. The landscape which includes over 500 startups from France, Germany and Sweden was supported by the German Entrepreneurship, German Accelerator, Vinnova, appliedAI, Ignite Sweden, AI Sweden, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and Hub France IA.

The landscape includes 158 Swedish AI startups in various categories. Codemill is listed under the Arts, Entertainment and Recreation category, while Adlede is listed under Retail & Commerce category.

4 Million SEK Research Fund For Developing New Deep Learning Method.

Codemill’s Co-founder, Johanna Björklund, has received funding of 4 million SEK from The Swedish Research Council for her research on the topic of “Semantic parsing of multimodal data”.

Virtual Workshops: Transitioning from Offline to Online Formats

At Codemill, as with any other Swedish workplace, we love our fika (coffee break), team stand-ups, our whiteboards and post-its when we are brainstorming and trying to come up with solutions or ideas. Sure, we have embraced a host of tools and services to make our workplace collaboration easier and accessible from anywhere. However, it is my experience that many of these tools with a few exceptions were always used asynchronously. Earlier this week we got a chance to test some of these tools and a few new ones.
